Database Developer – MySQL

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Database Developer (MySQL) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, optimizing performance, and supporting scalable production systems.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MySQL databases
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries
• Perform query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning
• Handle large datasets and ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Manage database backups, recovery, and replication
• Support production issues and participate in root cause analysis
• Automate database-related tasks using shell scripting
• Work closely with application, QA, and DevOps teams

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with MySQL
• Good understanding of database design, normalization, and indexing
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization
• Exposure to ETL processes and data validation
• Experience handling production databases
• Knowledge of shell scripting
• Basic exposure to Python and NoSQL databases is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
