Database Engineer

We are hiring a Database Engineer to join our CBFSS development team in Kochi. In this role, you will be responsible for database design, migration, performance optimization, high availability, disaster recovery, and security in a large-scale fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and optimized database solutions for fintech applications.
• Manage data migration across platforms and ensure data integrity.
• Monitor and optimize SQL queries for maximum performance.
• Implement HA/DR solutions to ensure business continuity.
• Work with cloud-based databases and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to support core banking product development.
• Maintain documentation and follow best practices in database administration and development.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Database Engineer or DBA.
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Proven experience in SQL performance tuning and data migration.
• Knowledge of cloud database services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in setting up and maintaining HA/DR solutions.
• Exposure to BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance) domain preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
