Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Database Engineer with strong SQL expertise to design, maintain, and optimize enterprise database systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in database development, performance tuning, data modeling, and working with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure database reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions
• Perform database design, schema creation, indexing, and data modeling
• Monitor database performance and conduct tuning to ensure high availability and efficiency
• Build and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines
• Collaborate with application engineers to support database-driven features
• Perform database backup, recovery, and failover procedures
• Monitor and troubleshoot database-related issues in production environments
• Assist in database upgrades, migration, and automation initiatives
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Database Engineer / SQL Developer
• Strong expertise in SQL (T-SQL / PL-SQL / PostgreSQL SQL / MySQL SQL)
• Experience working with one or more major RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
• Strong understanding of indexing, query execution plans, and database internals
• Experience in database performance monitoring & tuning tools
• Solid understanding of data structures, database theory, constraints, and normalization
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data integration
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python/Shell/PowerShell — good to have)
• Understanding of version control systems (Git)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
