PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL/NoSQL, ETL, AWS (EC2), Informatics, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven, Git, Bitbucket, Jira), database performance tuning, data modeling, data warehousing, EDI transactions (834/820/999, 270/271), healthcare systems, disaster recovery, and Linux administration.
Description
· We are seeking a highly skilled Database Management Specialist to support enterprise database systems for the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange (HBX). The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, administering, and optimizing complex database environments, including data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-based database platforms.
· This role requires expertise in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ETL processes, AWS cloud infrastructure, and enterprise database architecture, along with strong experience supporting large-scale healthcare or government systems. The specialist will work closely with developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure database performance, security, reliability, and data governance.
