Role Overview We are looking for a skilled DBMS Trainer to design and deliver engaging, practical, and concept-clear training sessions on database management systems. The trainer will create course material, lead live sessions (online/offline), support learners, assess progress and ensure learners gain both theoretical understanding and hands-on skills in DBMS. The trainer will also collaborate with curriculum designers and contribute to continuous improvement of the program. Responsibilities • Develop and update training materials (presentations, labs, assignments, quizzes) covering core DBMS topics (e.g., relational database concepts, SQL, schema design, normalization, indexing, transactions, performance tuning, backup & recovery, security, cloud DBs). • Deliver training sessions in an interactive and learner-centric format (live classes, workshops, hands-on labs). • Set up and maintain demo environments / sandbox databases for hands-on practice. • Facilitate learners’ queries, provide support, feedback, and mentoring throughout the course. • Assess learner progress via assignments, quizzes and practical projects; provide constructive feedback. • Collaborate with the curriculum team to align content with market relevance, update modules as technology evolves. • Ensure training sessions start/finish on schedule, maintain attendance, track learner engagement and outcomes. • Gather feedback from learners and make iterative improvements to the training delivery and materials. • Stay updated with DBMS trends and technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, cloud DB offerings) and incorporate new practices into the curriculum. Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent (Master’s is a plus). • Proven experience (e.g., 2–5 years) in database development, administration or teaching/training in DBMS. • Strong understanding of database management systems, particularly relational DBMSs. • Excellent proficiency in SQL (writing queries, joins, subqueries, indexing, performance considerations). • Experience in database design: entities/tables, keys, normalization, schema design. • Hands-on experience with one or more DBMS tools (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle). • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to learners with varied backgrounds. • Good presentation and communication skills, comfortable with live teaching and facilitating labs. • Strong mentoring/support skills: patient, able to respond to learner questions and guide them. • Comfortable working in a training environment: preparing materials, managing classes, tracking progress. • Willingness to update skills and adopt new DBMS technologies. Preferred Skills • Experience with non-relational / NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) or cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL). • Experience in designing capstone / project-based learning modules. • Experience in e-learning / online classroom delivery tools (Zoom, Teams, LMS platforms). • Certification in database technologies (e.g., Oracle Certified, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator) is a plus.

Pay: ₹10,329.24 - ₹56,352.92 per month
