Datacenter Engineer- Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Datacenter Engineer- Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex data center projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and oversight of data center construction projects, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and client requirements.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software, tracking progress and adjusting plans proactively.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers, electrical contractors, and construction crews to facilitate seamless project flow.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to verify compliance with design standards and safety regulations.
• Manage procurement processes utilizing HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools to accurately forecast costs and control budgets.
• Oversee site activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and schedule milestones.
• Utilize tools like ProCore and Bluebeam for document management, progress tracking, and communication among stakeholders.
• Conduct regular project meetings to monitor progress, resolve issues swiftly, and maintain clear communication channels.
• Ensure timely submission of reports such as incident reports, progress updates, and compliance documentation.
• Apply construction estimating techniques combined with project scheduling expertise to optimize resource allocation and minimize delays.

Experience

• Proven experience managing large-scale data center or heavy civil construction projects with a focus on infrastructure development.
• Strong background in construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Civil 3D or similar tools for schematics and site planning.
• Demonstrated ability in project coordination involving multiple stakeholders across different disciplines within the construction industry.
• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and construction site safety practices.
• Familiarity with construction estimating software like HeavyBid for cost forecasting and budget control.
• Hands-on experience with project scheduling techniques including critical path method (CPM) to ensure on-time delivery.
• Excellent time management skills coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
