🔧 Your Mission

As a Shift Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the smooth operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-availability electrical and mechanical systems. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain MEP systems: UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, CRAH units, and BMS.
• Respond to alarms and faults, diagnose issues, and restore operations swiftly.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance per SOPs, EOPs, and MOPs.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors during installations and major maintenance.
• Maintain detailed logs and performance records.
• Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

🎓 What You Bring

• Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in data centres or critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV systems, chillers, pumps, and fuel systems.
• Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier standards and TIA-942-B.
• Proficiency in BMS and CAFM systems.
• Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergencies.
• English fluency (Arabic is a plus).

🌟 Preferred Skills

• High-voltage switching and strong MEP maintenance experience.
• Problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with international codes (NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC).

🔧 Your Mission

As a Shift Leader, you’ll oversee a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring all critical systems operate flawlessly. You’ll be the go-to expert during your shift, driving operational excellence and continuous uptime.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise multidisciplinary shift teams.
• Oversee critical systems: UPS, generators, HVAC, chillers, fire suppression, and BMS.
• Ensure maintenance activities align with SOPs, EOPs, and MOPs.
• Act as the escalation point for technical issues and emergencies.
• Conduct shift handovers, incident reporting, and performance reviews.
• Manage vendor and contractor activities with strict SLA adherence.
• Monitor energy usage and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Maintain compliance documentation and support audits.
• Mentor and train staff to uphold technical excellence.

🎓 What You Bring

• Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years in data centre or critical infrastructure, with 2+ years in leadership.
• Deep understanding of MEP systems and international standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942, NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC).
• Experience with BMS, SCADA, and CAFM systems.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
