Job description:

Living Care Home Services is introducing a new service called Daughterly Companions and is seeking compassionate, organized, and dependable individuals to provide non-medical, non-personal support to clients throughout Doylestown and surrounding Bucks County, PA.

This role is not traditional caregiving. Instead, it focuses on helping clients stay organized, maintain a safe and tidy home, and enjoy meaningful companionship.

We are seeking independent contractor companions for flexible daytime assignments, typically ranging from 2–6 hours per shift.

Your Job Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and social interaction
• Help organize mail, paperwork, and household items
• Assist with light tidying and maintaining a clean, safe environment
• Support clients with errands such as grocery shopping and basic household tasks
• Help coordinate and track appointments and schedules
• Offer general oversight and ensure the home environment remains comfortable and organized
• Report to the Client Care Manager regarding updates, concerns, and scheduling

What This Role Does NOT Include:

• No bathing, dressing, or personal care
• No transfers or physical lifting
• No medical or clinical responsibilities

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must have experience (professional or personal) supporting others, managing a household, or providing companionship
• Must pass background checks/clearances as required by state regulations
• Must have reliable transportation to and from client locations
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required
• Must be dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
