About the Role
Pixl Sauce is looking for a highly skilled YouTube Video Editor to cut long-form content and related assets across multiple platforms. This is a fast-paced, collaborative, and creatively demanding role. It is not a beginner position.

You will be responsible for shaping major moments seen by large audiences. Pacing, comedy, music, and storytelling all matter. We are looking for someone with strong instincts, sharp timing, and a deep understanding of viral YouTube editing language.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube vlogs with tight pacing and strong comedic beats
• Select music, sound effects, and visual timing that enhance jokes and emotional moments
• Collaborate closely with producers and the creative team on direction and revisions
• Organize footage, project files, and exports efficiently
• Bring a strong editorial point of view while aligning with the established content style
• Assist with cutdowns, social edits, or additional content when needed
• Maintain an organized catalog of footage and project assets
• Meet tight deadlines when necessary without sacrificing quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience (YouTube strongly preferred)
• Strong sense of comedy, rhythm, pacing, and storytelling
• Advanced proficiency in Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere
• Comfortable working with large volumes of footage (10+ hours into a single episode)
• Detail-oriented, fast, and calm under pressure
• Based in Los Angeles
• Available to start as soon as possible

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Los Angeles, CA 90019
