Day and Evening Bartenders

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business.
  • Manage cash handling and POS transactions efficiently using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accuracy at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service or intoxication.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Handle food safety procedures diligently when serving food alongside beverages, including proper food handling practices.
  • Utilize effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts, ensuring prompt service without sacrificing quality.

Skills

  • Proven experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with POS systems for efficient sales processing.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques within the food industry.
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and drink measurements.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining high service standards.
  • Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding alcohol laws related to the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage trends is a plus for engaging guests with specialty drinks.
  • Effective communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members in a lively environment.
