Summary

We are seeking a motivated Photographer and/or Videographer to join our Media Team at Crestwood Day Camp & School. This position will be instrumental in enhancing our online presence and developing media for our community. The ideal candidate will help us share the joy of camp (and school) and connect with families.

Responsibilities

• Photograph and film daily camp activities, including sports, arts and crafts, swimming, performances, and various other activities and events.
• Capture candid, authentic moments that reflect the camp's culture and community
• Ensure a variety of shots — individuals, small groups, large groups, and action sequences
• Edit and deliver photos/video on a regular basis.

Requirements

• Experience photographing children and candid/action shots in fast-paced environments
• Ability to capture both individual moments and group activities
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physical stamina to move around camp all day while carrying equipment

Experience

• 1–3 years of professional or semi-professional photography/videography experience
• Proficiency with DSLR or mirrorless cameras and video equipment
• Skilled in photo editing software (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop) and video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
• Ability to shoot in varied lighting conditions (outdoor, indoor, low light)
• Strong composition and storytelling instincts

Dates & Hours

• Summer Months (Camp Season) - Full time 40 hours per week (primarily in-person; some remote work for evening and weekend updates)
