Job Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible teachers to lead and support children in daily activities. Teachers will serve as positive role models while ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children in an energetic, indoor/outdoor, and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with children in daily activities, including routine diaper changes, practicing health habits ( hand washing, face wiping, potty learning skills) arts & crafts, sports, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment where children feel safe, respected, and encouraged.
• Lead and participate in daily schedule of classroom, games, songs, and classroom activities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by following McFarlin & DHS policies and procedures.
• Assist in resolving conflicts and providing guidance to children as needed.
• Communicate effectively with fellow teachers, children, and parents.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, and transitions between activities.
• Act as a role model by demonstrating positive behavior and enthusiasm.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary (training provided).

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience working with children (babysitting, tutoring, coaching, or prior camp experience) is preferred but not required.
• Energetic, responsible, and patient with a passion for youth development.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and take initiative when needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must pass a background check.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
