Day Lead – Commercial Cleaning

Position Summary

The Day Lead for AG 1 Cleaning Services, provides direct support to the CEO while overseeing daily field operations. This role requires a highly organized, dependable professional who can manage personnel logistics, coordinate material distribution, and maintain service quality standards across all assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & CEO Support

• Act as the direct operational bridge between field staff and the CEO, facilitating communication and task delegation.
• Assist the CEO with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks as directed.
• Relay updates, concerns, and field reports to leadership in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company's standards and values while interfacing with clients and team members.

Material & Supply Management

• Coordinate the preparation, organization, and distribution of cleaning supplies and equipment to team members at the start of each shift.
• Transport materials to job sites and ensure all staff are equipped with the appropriate tools prior to service commencement.
• Monitor inventory levels and report replenishment needs to the CEO promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper storage of company vehicles and supply areas.

Cleaning Operations

• Perform commercial cleaning duties according to the scheduled service plan, including offices, common areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standard in compliance with company protocols and client expectations.
• Conduct quality checks at assigned accounts to verify that all team members are meeting performance standards.
• Address any service issues or client concerns on-site and escalate as appropriate.

Team Coordination

• Assist in scheduling and coordinating team member assignments to ensure adequate coverage across all active accounts.
• Provide on-the-job guidance and mentorship to cleaning staff to support skill development and adherence to procedures.
• Monitor punctuality and attendance and report discrepancies to the CEO.
• Foster a professional and collaborative team environment at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or residential cleaning services.
• Prior experience in a lead, supervisory, or team coordination role.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish and English

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting and transporting supplies and equipment up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a variety of commercial environments.

Work Schedule

Scheduling is based on client service needs and may include early morning, evening, or weekend shifts. The Day Lead is expected to maintain flexibility and availability in alignment with the operational demands of AG 1 Cleaning Services.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
