Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Day Porter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador of cleanliness and maintenance, ensuring our clients’ facilities remain spotless, safe, and welcoming throughout the day. Your proactive approach will help maintain an optimal environment for employees, visitors, and tenants alike.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
• Conduct janitorial and custodial duties across multiple areas within a residential building.
• Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and proper floor care techniques to ensure a pristine appearance.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and reporting larger issues to appropriate personnel.
• Support facilities maintenance by monitoring supply levels and restocking cleaning materials as needed.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all cleaning and maintenance activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing building occupants’ needs promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and buffing is highly desirable.
• Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork.

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
