Day Porter/Janitor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. This position involves performing various custodial tasks to ensure that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for employees and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to quality service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cleaning of designated buildings including floors, vacuuming, and trash
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any shortages or equipment issues.
• Some cleaning is performed outside so must be able to work in the elements

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial services or commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

The position is part time. Monday - Friday approximately 9:00am - 4:00pm about 20-25 hours per week but must have flexibility as end times may vary. Some accounts require cleaning outside so candidate must be willing to work in the elements, rain or shine. Must be able to pass a background check. Interviews will be conducted at our office in Burlington.

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
