Day Program Coordinator

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and driven Day Program Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. In this vital role, you will serve as a key point of contact between our members, their support coordinators, and external funding bodies. You must ensurr that services are accurately tracked, deadlines are met, and every member receives the support they deserve.

Responsibilities

  • Submit and track member attendance for Day Treatment & Activity (DTA), attendant care, and other funded services.
  • Send recruitment outreach emails to members' support coordinators to facilitate new member enrolment.
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure all submissions meet required deadlines.
  • Communicate professionally with external coordinators regarding member needs, service changes, and onboarding.
  • Liaise between the program and funding bodies, including the Passport Program and MCCSS.
  • Onboard new members and maintain up-to-date service profiles.
  • Support scheduling, logistics, and day-to-day coordination of program activities.
  • Ensure full compliance with organizational policies and provincial reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Accepting & patient of Special Needs Clients is a necessity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word) is a necessity.
  • Must be able to receive a First Aid & CPR and Class 1 Fingerprint Clarence Card (Provided by us).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.

Preferred/ Strong Assets

  • Experience with disability service funding systems (Passport Program, ODSP, Attendant Care)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a major asset.
  • Diploma or degree in Social Services, Developmental Services, Human Services, or Business Administration
  • Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or a social services environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
