Day Program Direct Support Professional/Driver (DSP)

Direct Support Professional/Driver needed for Adult Day Program providing services to Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

We are currently hiring for one first shift position 30 hrs+.

Job Requirements:

• Provide safe and timely transportation services on specified route
• Provide direct care to Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.
• Provide for all needed services that are included in person specific plans.
• Provide support with routines, hygiene, eating, toileting, etc.
• Maintain levels of supervision per ISP plans at all times.
• Ensure each individual is engaged throughout the day and are working towards person centered outcomes
• Follow daily routines needed for maintaining and increasing abilities.

Employment requirements:

• Meet DODD requirements for employment as a DSP in Ohio
• Pass a BCI/FBI background check
• Pass CPR/Medication Administration courses
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
• Meet transportation insurance requirements
