As an Assistant Director at Kids Grow, you’ll be empowered to create a fun, nurturing environment for every child and team member.
What You’ll Do:
- Use your imagination to create exciting learning experiences — and have fun playing with kids during the week!
- Bring your own unique teaching style to life with the help of Kids Grow’s faith-based curriculum, thoughtfully designed to meet each child’s needs.
- Grow in leadership with ongoing training and support — we’re invested in your development.
- Lead your classroom and team, creating a safe, welcoming space for children to learn and grow, while following all health and safety guidelines.
- Build strong, open relationships with parents to support the best care and education for their children.
- Foster positive partnerships with families, staff, state licensing authorities, local churches, and community partners.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that exceeds licensing requirements.
- Flexibly assist throughout the center as needed, including covering staff breaks in any classroom.
- Support center policies and procedures, communicating them clearly to staff, parents, and children in partnership with the Director.
- Assist the Director with team conduct, supporting personnel policies for teachers and aides.
