Daycare Assistant Teacher

**Job Summary** We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Daycare Teacher to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a nurturing environment for young children, guiding their development through engaging activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about working with children and want to make a positive impact on their lives. **Duties** - Create and implement lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of each child, from infant care to toddler care. - Establish a safe and organized classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration. - Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, their parents, and colleagues. - Provide individualized care and attention to children with special needs or requirements. - Implement classroom management strategies to maintain order and ensure the smooth operation of the classroom. - Plan and supervise activities, including arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play. - Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks to children. - Keep accurate records of children's progress, health, and daily activities. - Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the classroom and play areas. - Collaborate with other caregivers to create a cohesive and supportive childcare environment. **Requirements** - A degree in early childhood education or a related field. - Relevant experience working with children, including babysitting, childcare, and caregiving. - Knowledge of classroom management techniques and special education methods. - The ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. - A commitment to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for young children. - The ability to lift, bend, and move around the classroom. - Current CPR and First Aid certification. - A background check and any necessary certifications. **Skills** - Infant care - Early childhood education - Babysitting - Childcare - Caregiving - Classroom management - Experience with children - Toddler care - Special education - Classroom

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
