Daycare Director

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Director to lead our vibrant early childhood education center. Responsibilities

  • Manage daily center operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all programs
  • Lead and motivate a team of teachers, caregivers, and support staff to deliver high-quality childcare and early childhood education
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote childhood development and learning through play
  • Maintain compliance with licensing regulations, safety standards, and health protocols at all times
  • Build strong relationships with families by communicating regularly about their child's progress and well-being
  • Oversee classroom management to ensure a positive, inclusive environment that supports children’s social-emotional growth
  • Coordinate staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate ongoing professional development in areas such as first aid, special education, behavior management, and working with children with disabilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, including classroom management and curriculum planning
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in early childhood education or childcare centers
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, parents, and licensing authorities
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Passion for nurturing young children’s growth through engaging activities such as toddler care, infant care, preschool teaching, nannying or babysitting experience
