Job Summary
Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Daycare Floater! Duties

• Assist in supervising children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Support classroom teachers by helping with lesson implementation, play activities, and routine transitions
• Provide attentive infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed
• Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards
• Step into different classrooms as needed to ensure coverage during staff breaks or absences
• Support behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among children

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar settings is preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Passion for working with children and fostering a nurturing learning environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and assist across different classroom settings

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
