Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing environment for children. This role involves caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, fostering their development through engaging activities and ensuring their well-being throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and stimulating environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among children
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
- Collaborate with team members to create a supportive learning atmosphere
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Skills
- First aid certification is preferred
- Experience in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong background in early childhood education, including preschool experience
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Proven experience working with children in various capacities such as childcare, nannying, or babysitting
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques
- Ability to provide effective behavior management strategies
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff
