Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to guide and support our classroom, mentor team members, and help ensure smooth center operations. The Lead Teacher plays a key role in curriculum implementation, classroom leadership, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified (training can be suggested for you)
• Must be able to lift upto 40 pounds
• Must be able to pass the background check and FBI fingerprinting check

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily classroom activities and routines
• Plan and implement age‑appropriate curriculum
• Support and mentor assistant teachers
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
• Communicate with families about student progress and needs
• Assist with classroom coverage in director’s absence
• Follow licensing requirements and center policies
• Help ensure proper documentation and compliance
• Check children in and out
• Handle communication with parents on-site and on the phone

Qualifications:

• CDA credential, Early Childhood Education degree, or equivalent
• Previous experience in early childhood or a lead teacher role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Passion for working with children and supporting their development

Pay: $16.00 per hour
