Daycare Lead Teacher & Assistant Teacher- 2 positions

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Worker/Teacher to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children. In this role, you will support early childhood development by implementing age-appropriate activities, managing classroom routines, and fostering positive behavior. Responsibilities

  • Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for children in preschool, toddler care, and infant care settings
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration
  • Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Monitor and manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to foster respectful interactions and good conduct
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, needs, and any concerns
  • Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a structured yet flexible learning atmosphere
  • Assist children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized support as needed

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
  • Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar caregiving roles
  • Proficiency in classroom management and behavior management techniques
  • First aid certification and knowledge of emergency response procedures
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs in an inclusive setting
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents or guardians
  • Demonstrated patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for nurturing young learners

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
