Daycare Paraprofessional

Indy West Christian School is seeking a caring, dependable and mature Christian individual to serve as a Daycare Paraprofessional. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting students in a loving, faith-based environment. This role provides classroom assistance and supervision to ensure a safe and nurturing atmosphere for learning and play.

Professional Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work well with children and adults in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Prior childcare or classroom experience preferred.

Spiritual & Personal Requirements:

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Active member of an evangelical church.
• Commitment to the school's Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Statement.
• Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality, and a positive attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and interact with students in daycare and classroom settings.
• Assist teachers with learning tasks and classroom management.
• Provide coverage for lunch, recess, and before/aftercare programs.
• Maintain a positive, Christ-centered environment for students and staff.
• Communicate effectively with teachers and administrators.
• Be available during daycare hours (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM).
• Willingness to obtain a substitute certificate and serve as needed.
