Daycare Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a strong understanding of childhood development. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for children aged infants to toddlers.

Duties

• Teach and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
• Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to support each child's individual needs.
• Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while managing supplies and resources effectively.
• Collaborate with other educators to promote a cohesive learning experience across different age groups.
• Provide care for infants and toddlers, including diapering, feeding, and comforting as needed.
• Support children with disabilities or special needs through tailored activities and individualized attention.

Qualifications

• No previous experience working with children in a daycare required, but preferred.
• Once hired, required to complete state childhood development training modules.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly environment.
• First aid certification is highly desirable; but training will be provided.
• Experience in toddler care, and special education is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with disabilities.
• A genuine love for working with young children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
