The minimum commitment is 12 hours a week, including one-weekend shift.

Daycare Teacher Responsibilities

• Team-teacher to initiate and supervise recreation activities

• Lead art activities

• Serve meals and snacks
• Daily sanitizing and cleaning of center

Daycare Teacher Requirements

• Fully Qualified Teacher - 12 college semester units in Early Childhood Education, Development or Studies, and 6 months teaching experience in a licensed day care center –courses must include: Child Development, Child-Family-Community, Principles and Practices, and Curriculum.

• Enjoy working with children 2-12 years old

• Some computer skills

• Demonstrated good verbal skills with children and adults

• Interpersonal communication skills that demonstrate warmth and empathy for adults and children

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
