Daycare Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development while ensuring the well-being of each child in your care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Educate children on basic skills such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes through interactive activities.
• Monitor and assess children's progress in their developmental milestones.
• Provide individual attention to students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Ensure the safety of all children by following established health and safety protocols.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain accurate records of incidents.

Experience

• Proven experience in early childhood education or childcare settings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices.
• Experience working with students of varying abilities, including those with special needs.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support positive interactions among children.
• Previous babysitting or childcare experience is a plus.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is Required.
• A background in educating young children through creative play and structured activities is essential.
