About the Role

We’re looking for passionate, caring Full-Time and Part-Time Teachers to join our growing team! As a teacher at Nurxery Christian Academy, you’ll have the opportunity to create a loving, engaging classroom where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. You’ll partner with families, collaborate with teammates, and contribute to a program that sets a new standard for health, safety, and early education.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide attentive care to infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Foster social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development in a faith-centered atmosphere.
• Model and promote safe, healthy habits and infection prevention practices.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, daily activities, and any concerns.
• Assist with feeding, diapering, nap times, and other daily routines in accordance with licensing standards.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with licensing and safety standards.
• Adhere to all licensing regulations and health & safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with young children in a childcare or early learning setting.
• A nurturing personality and strong passion for early childhood education.
• Great communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and bring creativity to the classroom.
• Compassionate caregiving attitude with a genuine love for working with young children.
• CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred but not required).
• Required clearances (willingness to obtain clearances within 30 days if not already obtained):
• State and Federal Criminal Background Checks
• Child Abuse Clearance
• National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR) check
• Pediatric CPR and First Aid (PQAS certified program or willingness to obtain)
