Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for children in various age groups
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed diligently
  • Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and toilet training with patience and kindness
  • Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and respect among children
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns
  • Collaborate with team members to plan educational programs that align with developmental milestones and curriculum standards
  • Monitor individual needs of children with special education requirements or disabilities, adapting activities accordingly

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom setting is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
  • Strong classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management techniques
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and enthusiasm
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members
  • A genuine passion for caregiving and nurturing young minds during their critical developmental stages
