Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young children in a vibrant early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom where children can explore, learn, and grow. Duties

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for children in preschool, toddler care, or infant care settings
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols within the classroom
  • Monitor children’s behavior and provide positive guidance using effective behavior management techniques
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists when necessary
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child’s progress, milestones, and any concerns
  • Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor play to ensure comfort and well-being
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s activities, developmental progress, and incident reports as required
  • Use classroom management skills to foster an inclusive environment that encourages cooperation and respect among children

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
  • Strong classroom experience with toddlers, infants or preschool-aged children
  • Ability to manage behavior effectively while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging activities that support learning through play and exploration

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
