Daycare Teacher

`work schedule : 8am -5pm Monday to Friday or 9am -6pm M- F

Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lessons for preschool children
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child to ensure their social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages cooperation, respect, and kindness
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to provide regular updates on their child's progress and address any concerns
- Organize and supervise indoor and outdoor play activities to promote physical education and gross motor skills development

Requirements:

Montessori Certificated or familiar with Montessori


- Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is MUST

Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues

Patience, creativity, and flexibility to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students

Ability to create a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Familiarity with tutoring techniques for subjects such as math is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
