Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young children in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and creative activities aligned with early childhood development standards.
- Foster a nurturing environment by providing attentive toddler care and managing classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design lesson plans that support special education needs and early intervention strategies.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed diligently.
- Engage with children through interactive teaching methods, including tutoring, storytelling, and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any behavioral concerns.
- Support classroom management by organizing activities that promote social skills, cooperation, and emotional regulation among students.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is essential; classroom management skills are highly valued.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, Montessori methods, and early intervention techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education.
- Experience in special education or working with students with diverse learning needs is a plus.
- Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; CPR/First Aid certification is required upon hiring.
