Opening for a Part time, Float teacher

Midlands Total Childcare is a small business in West Columbia, SC. We are professional and agile.

Duties:

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans
- Supervise and engage children in play and learning activities
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and clean-up
- Change diapers and assist with potty training as needed
- Monitor children's behavior and address any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a cohesive and positive environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility

Requirements:
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for working with students
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create a structured and supportive classroom environment
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent education

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent education is necessary for this position.
