Responsibilities

- Engage children in educational activities that promote physical activity, creativity, and social skills, including teaching physical education and preschool skills.
- Support children with special needs through early intervention techniques and individualized attention.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to childcare standards, child welfare policies, and health protocols.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including lesson planning, daily schedules, and standardized testing when applicable.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management in daycare or preschool settings.
- Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other specialized educational approaches is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children alike.
- Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is desirable.
