Daycare Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
• Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
• Engage children in educational activities that stimulate curiosity and encourage exploration.
• Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development, daily activities, and any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive teaching approach.

Requirements

• Experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
• A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
• Experience in infant care, toddler care, or preschool settings is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
• First Aid/CPR certification is preferred but not required at the time of hire.
