Daycare Teacher

We are a small, nurturing center located in Chippewa Falls, WI dedicated to providing high-quality childcare in small class sizes that foster meaningful connections between teachers, children, and families.

Little Explorers is seeking passionate individuals to join our teaching team. Openings are available for lead and assistant teaching positions, with full and part-time schedules offered between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM.

Teachers responsibilities:

-Plan, prepare, and implement daily activities for target age group.

-Use age-appropriate activities, toys, and materials to engage with children throughout their day.

-Work collaboratively with teaching and administrative team to ensure that children are nurtured, safe, and cared all day.

-Maintain a classroom environment that meets state licensing requirements for group childcare centers.

Qualifications:

-All candidates must pass required state background checks, and meet state minimum education and experience requirements.

-18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED

-At least 1 year of professional experience working with children is preferred.

-Must meet or be willing to complete State of Wisconsin teacher qualifications:

3 state classes including EC1, EC2, Infant-Toddler

CDA, associates, or bachelors degree in early education or related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
