Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Duties
- Create a nurturing environment that encourages positive behavior management and supports children’s social-emotional growth.
- Conduct classroom management to maintain a safe, organized, and engaging space for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Engage in classroom activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, music, movement, and early intervention strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations and standardized testing when appropriate; communicate progress with parents and guardians regularly.
- Support children with special education needs by adapting activities and providing inclusive care aligned with best practices in childhood development.
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, behavioral notes, lesson plans, and developmental milestones to ensure compliance with childcare standards.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential; familiarity with toddler care is highly valued.
- Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles including childhood development theories and classroom management techniques.
- Experience developing curriculum content that includes literacy education, math skills, physical education, and Montessori methods is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, team members, and external specialists.
- Proven ability to manage behavior positively while fostering an inclusive environment that promotes child welfare.
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
