Daycare Teacher (2-3 years)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team at The Caterpillar Learning Academy and lead our 2-3s class. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in early childhood education, possess strong behavior management skills, and be knowledgeable in childhood development.

Responsibilities

- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards (EDU 119, Admin Levels 1 & 2 etc.)

- Provide a safe and nurturing classroom environment for toddlers

- Educate children on basic skills such as reading, writing, and social interactions

- Must be willing to always engage with the children, we are a no screens facility

- Conduct assessments to monitor each child's progress and development

- Collaborate with parents to support each child's individual needs

- Implement early intervention strategies when necessary

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

- Previous experience working with young children in a classroom setting

- Strong understanding of childhood development principles

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and promote a positive learning environment

Desirable

- Teaching qualification/license

- Masters Degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.85 per hour
