Daycare Teacher Assistant

A very well established childcare facility in Lancaster Kentucky is seeking a fun loving and caring individuals for a teaching assistant/floater position. Approximately 30-40 hours weekly with potential for overtime.

MUST BE EXTREMELY DEPENDABLE!

Requirements:

Be able to pass background check/finger scan
18 years of age
High School diploma / GED
Be dependable and reliable

Be available and willing to take continuing education courses as required
Have some knowledge of young children’s needs
Be a team player and able to work well with others
Must genuinely love to work with children

Summary

As a Daycare Teacher Assistant, you will support the lead teacher in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Your core skills in childcare and experience with children will be essential in assisting with daily activities and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children. With premium skills in first aid, toddler care, and teaching, you will contribute to creating a stimulating and engaging learning atmosphere. Your relevant skills in nannying, daycare, and childhood development will further enhance the quality of care and education provided. Responsibilities

• Assist lead daycare teacher in implementing age-appropriate activities for children.
• Provide support in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers.
• Help with childcare duties such as feeding, changing diapers, and supervising playtime.
• Utilize knowledge of childhood development to engage children in educational and stimulating activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the daycare facility.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: From $11.00 per hour
