Daycare Teacher (at least 1 year experience)

Seeking child care teacher with EXPERIENCE working with Infants, Toddlers Pre-K and/or School-age children; Teacher will assist in meeting the social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs of a group of infants and children (ages 0 to 12 years).

Must be fun, energetic, creative, loving, caring, and a TEAM PLAYER!

Teacher with CDA credential highly encouraged, but NOT necessary!

Teacher is under the general supervision of Director, assistant Director and/or lead teacher

Qualifications and Skills:

* Must have successful experience in childcare setting working with all ages, including but not limited to writing curriculum.

Experience with Texas Rising Star (TRS) program is welcomed.

* Must have high school diploma or equivalent

* Must have drivers license or state issued ID

* Must be able to lift and comfort a young child (weight approximately 40+ lbs.) and get up and down from the floor with or without accommodation

* Have current pediatric First Aid/CPR certification or obtain prior to employment

* Have a negative T.B. test or obtain prior to employment

* Criminal history background check will be performed upon hire

* FBI fingerprint history check will be performed upon hire

* Must complete at least 8 hours of required Pre-Service training (24 hours needed total) IF less than 6 months of childcare experience in licensed facility
