Pooh & Friends Child Care Development Center II is expanding and we are building a high performing teaching team to match our growth.

We are currently hiring dedicated, professional, and passionate educators for the following classrooms:

• Infant Teacher
• Toddler I Teacher
• Toddler II Teacher
• Early Pre-K Teacher

• Arrive on time, every day, without exception
• Maintain a structured, engaging, and safe classroom environment
• Understand classroom management and child development
• Communicate professionally with parents and leadership
• Take pride in cleanliness, organization, and classroom presentation
• Follow all DCF regulations and center policies

We do not hire babysitters. We hire educators.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a structured classroom environment
• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate learning
• Support daily routines (meals, transitions, rest time)
• Maintain proper ratios and safety standards
• Implement curriculum and learning activities
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff

Qualifications

Required:

• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and professionalism
• Experience working with young children

Preferred:

• DCF 45 Hours (completed or in progress)
• CPR / First Aid Certification
• CDA or Early Childhood Education background
