Daycare Teacher Part-Time

The Wonder & Bloom Learning Academy is a licensed in-home early childhood program in Round Rock seeking a dependable, nurturing, and experienced childcare teacher to join our small school community.

Our program serves children ages 2–4 in a calm, structured, relationship-based environment that focuses on emotional development, consistency, play-based learning, and kindergarten readiness. Although we are a licensed home program, we operate with the same professionalism, structure, policies, and expectations as a traditional child care center. We are proud to maintain zero deficiencies with the State of Texas and are looking for someone who values professionalism, teamwork, and high-quality care.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys small group settings, building meaningful relationships with children, and working in a warm, supportive environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for independently supervising and caring for a small group of children, implementing daily routines and activities, maintaining compliance with licensing standards, ensuring safety at all times, and confidently managing the classroom when working alone.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 21 years of age or older to meet liability insurance requirements
• At least 1 year of licensed childcare/daycare experience
• Comfortable supervising and engaging with a small group of children independently
• Dependable, calm, patient, and safety-focused
• Strong communication and professionalism
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass all required state background checks
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain before start date

Current schedule:

• Fridays: 9:15 AM–5:00 PM

There is strong potential for additional hours and days over time, including Thursdays and occasional full-day coverage opportunities as the program continues to grow.

Occasional availability between 7:00 AM–5:00 PM for pre-scheduled coverage days is preferred. Any additional hours would always be discussed and scheduled in advance based on mutual availability.
