Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones, and creating engaging learning experiences. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while working in a supportive and collaborative setting. Experience with children, classroom management, and early childhood education principles are essential for success in this position. We prefer certifications such as CDC, TCC, TCD in early childhood education, etc.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and document children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones to communicate with parents and guardians effectively.
- Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, and dressing children as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum activities that support childhood development goals.
- Enforce classroom rules and behavior management strategies to foster positive social interactions among children.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with specialists when applicable.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is required.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices related to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Experience with classroom management and behavior management techniques.
- Certification or training in first aid is advantageous; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is encouraged.
- Familiarity with working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
