Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning through play and structured activities
• Provide attentive infant care, toddler care, and preschool instruction, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with compassion and professionalism
• Manage classroom environments effectively through classroom management techniques that encourage positive behavior and social skills
• Ensure safety by applying first aid when necessary, maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment, and adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Support children with special education needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing tailored caregiving strategies
• Foster strong communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, observations, and any incidents to support ongoing child development assessments

Skills

• Proven experience in early childhood education, preschool teaching, or childcare roles such as nannying or babysitting
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in working with children of various ages including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Excellent classroom management skills to create a nurturing yet structured environment
• Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills capable of building trusting relationships with children and families
