Daycare Worker -- part- time

Martins Day Care, Orrville is looking for an energetic, responsible person to join our staff. Applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma and be able to pass a background check (as required by the state of Ohio).

The position is in the Toddler room (18 months - 3 years) 2 days/week. Duties includes (but not limited to):

• caring for children, ages 8 weeks through kindergarten, as directed by our policies and the policies of the Ohio Dept. of Job & Family Services;
• being able to work when scheduled (we are open 6:45 am - 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday, year-round);
• and being kind, respectful, and courteous to the children, their parents, and other staff members.

Experience is preferred, but not required. We do not offer insurance.

Please be aware that working in this setting is different than babysitting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour
