Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional growth for children in your care
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by following health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary
• Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor play
• Foster positive behavior through effective behavior management techniques and nurturing caregiving approaches
• Manage classroom environments to encourage independence, creativity, and respectful interactions among children

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is a plus
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus, but I can get you certified
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively is a plus
• Compassionate caregiving attitude with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of children and the daycare environment

Job Type: Full-time
