Daycare Worker/Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Worker/Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers. Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for children in your care
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures when necessary
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns
  • Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques
  • Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily routines for infants and toddlers

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
  • Classroom experience in a daycare or preschool environment demonstrating classroom management skills
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; ongoing training in special education or behavior management is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism
