Daycare Worker/Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. You will be responsible for developing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Duties

• Plan and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas.
• Provide individualized support to children with special needs or disabilities.
• Maintain classroom management to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and daily activities.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere for all children.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.

Experience

• Previous experience in daycare or early childhood education settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with childhood development principles and practices.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is highly valued.
• Strong background in classroom management techniques.
• Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies to support children's emotional well-being.
