Daycare/Preschool Teacher

In-home Daycare

*This position is full time from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, and takes initiative in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that foster learning and development
• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
• Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured activities
• Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a safe and positive learning environment
• Supervise students during play time, lunchtime, and other activities
• Provide individualized attention and support to students with special needs or learning challenges
• Take children to the bathroom and change diapers
• Sing during circle time
• Thoroughly clean the space to ensure neatness

Qualifications:

Experience working with preschool-age children

• Strong leadership and time management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Previous experience working with children is required
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must be energetic and actively engaged with the children
